You will be part of a dynamic consulting team working with clients from local and international public and private sector organisations.

Responsibilities

Your role as an Economist is to:

  • Provide macro and microeconomic analysis to a wide-range of projects
  • Collaborate on consulting projects including proposal and report writing, project planning and execution, quantitative/qualitative research and analysis and design and implementation of strategic projects
  • Prepare research reports for clients or for publication
  • Support the development and delivery of relevant executive education programmes
  • Contribute to thought leadership in corporate strategy, public policy strategy and foresight

Requirements:

  • Minimum of a Masters/PhD in Economics from a reputable institution
  • 2-4 years relevant working experience is preferred
  • Outstanding fresh graduates will be considered

Other Preferred Skills & Experience:

  • Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Powerpoint
  • Familiarity with econometrics and statistical tools is a necessity
  • Familiarity with R and STATA is required
  • Track record as a professional economist in country and sectoral analysis

Requirements:

  • Good Honours Degree in Economics, International Management or Business Administration from a reputable institution
  • 2 years relevant working experience is preferred
  • Outstanding candidates with less experience will be considered

  • Knowledge of SPSS and Tableau would be an advantage
