Data Analysis Trainer

Responsibilities

We want to hire suitable and experienced professionals in the field of Data Analytics/Data Science.

We are looking for experienced, self-motivated and committed Data Analysis Trainer(s) to join our Data Group to take the lead in delivering our signature executive training programme on Data Science.

Reporting to the COO and Director/Deputy of the Data Group, you will lead and be part of the core training team to train working professionals (primarily in the public sector) across different programme levels from our suite of data science education series.

Your role as a Data Analysis Trainer is to:

  • Manage, review and enhance the content development and delivery of executive education programmes on data science and skills
  • Deliver bespoke training services to participants from different work backgrounds and varying levels of data analysis proficiency.
  • Communicate clearly and simplify complex concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences to enhance their understanding.
  • Manage and effectively engage the learners/participants during the training sessions (must be able to conduct training confidently both on online platform and in-person).
  • Demonstrate depth and breadth of knowledge, applications, analytical thinking, statistical concepts and methods as well as handle in-training queries from junior to senior participants.
  • Undertake and perform various range of data analysis by applying statistical models and techniques such as predictive modelling, text analysis and machine learning to generate valuable insights.
  • Collaborate with the team to provide analytical expertise on consulting projects in diverse areas for clients in both public and the private sector (if required).
  • Contribute to thought-leadership articles and content relevant to data analytics.

Requirements

To be considered for this role, you should have: 

  • Strong and good results in your Postgraduate or Graduate degree in Statistics/Mathematics/Econometrics/Economics or other relevant fields from a reputable institution
  • Preferably 4-5 years of relevant working experience in data analytics and in training professionals – outstanding candidates without direct training experience will be considered
  • Confidence in public speaking/presentations, articulate and fluent in English
  • Advanced MS Excel skills and Microsoft Office
  • High proficiency in R and Python is a necessity
  • Proficiency or familiarity in the use of Power BI, Tableau, Qliksense and other statistical software, such as SPSS or others
  • Strong ability in data visualisation techniques and data storytelling
  • Preferably an ACTA Teaching Certification
  • Excellent interpersonal and written communication skills
  • Willingness and proactivity to assist in troubleshooting and solving issues
  • Passion towards learning new skills and knowledge, and imparting knowledge to others.

Associate Economist/ Senior Economist

Responsibilities

We are on the look-out for solution-oriented, analytical and driven individuals, to be part of our consulting team, to define goals, push boundaries and deliver results for our clients.

As an Economist with the Future-Moves Group, you will be a part of a dynamic consulting team and work with clients from public and private sector organisations, both locally and internationally.

Reporting to the CEO and/or designated Directors on a project basis, you will collaborate and support various consulting projects, research and analysis related to public policy, macro-economics, fiscal and tax policy, and strategy development amongst others.

Requirements

To be considered for this role, you should have:

You will also be involved in proposal and report writing, presentation to clients, project planning and execution, research and analysis, design and implementation of strategic projects, support executive education and contribute to the development of thought-leadership content in strategy, public-policy and macro-economic issues amongst others.

Requirements

  • Strong academic results with good Honours Degree or Postgraduate in Economics, Political Science, International Management or Business Administration from a reputable institution, and be a Singaporean/ Singapore PR
